Stop and Think

  • Do we really need to pave paradise?

  • How do you replace a 300-year old Oak tree?

  • Who will rebuild the stone walls that your grandfathers built by hand?

  • Isn't it reasonable to promote architecture and development that compliment and enhance our neighborhoods?

  • Isn't it our responsibility to build processes that oversee and guide changes before they are made?

  • What do we want East Haddam to look like ten years in the future? Twenty? One hundred?

  • How valuable are our walking and bicycling trails? Our horse trails? Our scenic vistas?

  • If we don't protect our open spaces, who will?
